Nevada Payday Loans
The laws governing payday loans change and depend on which state is lending. Nevada is one of only two states (the other is Utah) where cash advance fees have no regulation. A payday loan company can charge consumers whatever they would like. This means that consumers can be asked to pay any percentage or fee relating to a payday advance and there is no cap set forth by state laws. Consumers do have limits on what they can borrow, though. The principal loan amount cannot be more than 25 percent of the borrower's gross monthly income. Borrowers that default on payday loans cannot be prosecuted criminally unless the lender can prove criminal intent on the part of the consumer. Private collection is allowed.
You can find payday loans anywhere in Nevada. The two most common places are in the gambling cities of Las Vegas and Reno.
